CytoVue Portable SCC is an automatic somatic cell counting instrument which is based on the principle of fluorescence microscopy. It is used to count somatic cells in raw milk, providing quantifiable scientific data for quality control and product development of dairy products,as well as the prevention and control of dairy cow diseases in pastures.
Compared to the standard benchtop model, this portable design offers significantly enhanced mobility. Its built-in rechargeable battery allows for flexible testing in various settings, and a single full charge supports up to 190 consecutive tests(760 samples).
Working Principle of Somatic Cell Counter

Somatic cell count tester is based on the principle of Fluorescence Flow Cytometry and achieves counting by measuring the fluorescence signals of bacterial cells in milk.
